Beaulieu 2008?

Looking for info on the Beaulieu 2008. Does it have 24fps setting? Is there a socket for cyrstal sync? Also, I'd love to hear opinions on the camera in general?

I spoke with my man Irv Higdon about the 2008 many moons ago. If I recall he said that it was the "original" Beaulieu Super8 camera sold in the USA. Here we treat our equipment differently than in Europe, plus the environment is very different than Europe.

Beaulieu had many complaints about the 2008 being weak and breaking down. So they made the stronger 4008.

I don't think that the 2008 is worth a hill of beans--But that is my opinion. I also don't know if Beaulieu still makes parts for it. Call Irv Higdon ask him. 818/894-6661
